Coming Soon: Affinity Circles Social Network

Beginning in spring, 2008 the Smeal College of Business will bring together its students, alumni, and employers in a private, secure, and interactive online community using the Affinity Circles social networking platform. The Smeal College social network will foster professional mentoring by placing senior level students in touch with alumni, helping users locate professional contacts, finding jobs through alumni networking, or by making connections within specific industries. Groups or individuals will be able to publicize events in the network, giving event coordinators faster, easier access to members and students. Members will also be able to expand their reach by sharing their blogs in a personal profile via RSS feeds. Check back in the spring to build and maintain personal and professional connections in a dynamic, trusted online community.
